This leather jacket is used extensively in Police Departments across the nation for Patrol Car use and mild weather motorcycle use. It is made at our Factory near San Diego with top quality materials-- leather, stitching, lining and hardware. It is most popular with the Plain Leather Collar in Cowhide but is also available with permanent real sheep fur collar with black fur. While both Goatskin and Cowhide are very durable Cowhide is best for rugged wear and many Departments like the San Diego County Sheriffs Department use it on the motorcycle when the Police B is just too heavy. The G1P has a biswing back and underarm gussets for full movement; inside Gun and Breast Pockets and an inside wind flap. Leather Cuffs and Waistband are a $50.00 option and the patch pockets have hidden side-entry hand warmers. A zip out Thinsulate liner is $35.00. Many officers prefer the jacket body to be extra short so that it is out of the way of the gun belt. This option is available for $20.00 more. Also officers 6' tall or over will order a regular jacket with longer sleeves which for them will be a short body. Longer sleeves costs $10.00 more. The nylon stitching is guaranteed for ten years.
